HRBA Winners Announcement

Voting is now closed

I would like to thank everyone for voting in the first HRBA's. Voting has just been completed and I will be having all of the winners announced at 5pm EDT on Weds. This will be the LIVE announcement I mentioned in the previous post.

2010 HRBA's to be announced LIVE on June 23

HRBA winners will be announced LIVE on Weds, June 23, 2010 on http://horseracingbloggersawards.net/. The software that will be used is Coveritlive, the announcement will take about 15 minutes as I will be announcing the winners. On Thursday June 24, 2010, a more formal Press Release will be posted along with the percentages which will be also announced on Wensday. I will also announce how you can contact me in order to see the lovely button which is the HRBA profile picture. Once again I would like to thank everyone for particpating in nominations and voting of the 2010 HRBA's.

Just a reminder for everyone, the Finalists Ballot closes next Monday. I have not decided on exact time yet, but more then likely it will be sometime in the late afternoon/early evening. As of right now there have been 44 responces to the finalists ballot. I'm truly humbled by the responce and want to thank everyone for responding.

So keep it up and I'll be back next week with the closing post and the winners!

Wow! It's an honor to be mentioned on Dana Byerly's Green But Game blog in this post (the HRBA's are mentioned at the bottom of the post.) Dana is one half of Hello Race Fans, a new educational site for horse racing fans.

I also want to appologize to everyone for the blog being down for a few hours yesterday. You may or may not have noticed, but we are now using a custom domain. The reason why the blog was down for a few hours yesterday was I was trying to get it to take effect. Unfortanlly, I somehow screwed up. Thanks to Blogger/Google Help though, I was able to fix it and we are now back up and running. Once again I applogize for the downtime.

Also there is now a HRBA page on Facebook
